I've been using the Twitch App when it was still called the Curse Client. However as time went by, the Curse/Twitch App is becoming more and more of a memory hog that isn't even nearly as useful or benefitial to the minecraft modpacks run from it. When I switched over to MultiMC however I realized that it can't really import Curse/Twitch modpacks.

This is a simple utility (that took roughly 6 hours or more to make) that automates copying or mirroring a Curse/Twitch App modpack over to your MultiMC environment. Well not really "automate" but it makes it kind of easier for you as you don't need to manually copy folders from one place to another or run a command to symlink the two modpack locations.

Please note you will still need to do this and first create your instance over on MultiMC. This utility just makes Steps 13 to 16 from that guide much easier.

Why did you made this?

I made this just because I can. I just wanted a small utility to help me mirror modpacks over from the Curse/Twitch App to MultiMC without having to manually copy, move or link stuff together. This can do it all for you. So I'm making it publicly available in the event someone else also wants to use something like this.

What license is this under?

I honestly never gave a thought about it, so feel free to do whatever you want with it, as long as it's not illegal.

Can I have the source code?

No, I do not plan on releasing the source code for this utility.

Windows UAC shows a yellow banner instead of a Green/Teal/Blue/Purple banner! Is this not signed?

No it is not signed as I don't see a reason to buy the microsoft code signing licensing rights just to sign a small and simple utility like this. To make sure the file you downloaded is authentic, please compare the SHA1 signature as shown in the Downloads section above.

Will there be updates?

I don't think there will be any updates to this utility unless there are some critical problems that need to be solved. Normally I include a form of auto-updater in all of my programs, but I don't think there needs to be one for program. Check back here from time to time if you want to look for updates.
